TLDR: Rude, "An entire block of cream cheese per slice", and overpriced. I was in town from Michigan and needed something to eat at night after a day of shopping. I called the first time to ask questions and the woman was extremely nice, but I had hung up after being told how to find the menu then called back and this time was rudely greeted by an older gentleman. he was frustrated and extremely rude over simple questions like "how much are your French fries," and "do you have bread sticks?" Also, when I asked the first woman how much the build your own pizza was she told me 10.79 for the medium and 13.99 for the large plus extra for each topping. I ended up asking for a large NORMAL pizza (I clarified pizza sauce, cheese, ham, and bacon), and was then told 25 dollars. I asked where that came from and he erupted into "well first of all she told you this instead of this" so I just let it go and decided im too hungry to argue. after getting the pizza, it was a disaster. nacho cheese ontop of an entire block of cream cheese with zero pizza sauce. the only way that it was edible to me (I hate cream cheese) was by scraping all of the toppings (apparently 10 dollars btw) off of the piz

I am extremely frustrated with my experience and the complete lack of professionalism from your staff. I scheduled a delivery for 6:00 PM and selected “leave at door.” As a former delivery driver for Pizza Hut for four years, I know that even with that option, drivers are expected to notify the customer by calling, texting, or at the very least knocking. Your driver did none of that. There was no call, no text, and no knock. My food was left outside in the rain for over an hour without my knowledge, making it completely unacceptable and essentially wasted. To make matters worse, I later received a voicemail from John, who I understand is the manager, claiming the driver knocked and rang the doorbell. This is simply not true. I was in my living room the entire time with my children and would have heard it. When I attempted to explain this, John was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. He repeatedly talked over me, cut me off, and refused to actually listen. His response—“you selected leave at door”—was not only dismissive but completely ignores the fact that basic communication was never attempted. This place reminds me of the places I grew up eating at in NY. Pizza consistency is near perfect NY slice. They spike roll their dough so crust doesn't create air bubbles like a NY slice but it holds up when folded and has the dip when not. The sauce, what truly makes a good pizza, is perfect; it's not too sweet, has a tomato forward flavor with a hint of heat and herb. The old school vibe; hard wood floors, old worn red leather no spring booths, it just adds to feel of a good pizza joint. Don't sleep on this place. Grab you a slice and beer.

We had such a good time at the Newport Pizza Company! The mozzarella balls were amazing and the pizza was delicious! If you are ever in the area, give them a try! You won't be disappointed.

The best locally owned Italian restaurant in Newport Kentucky. Great experience for my extended family. Everyone went away satisfied. We plan to return often. Great place to eat before events along the river front.
